CassaHer is a subsidiary of Greenhills Cassava Farmstead, dedicated to empowering women and youths in agriculture. We celebrate the cassava plant’s versatility as a symbol of untapped potential, mirroring our commitment to placing women and youths at the forefront of agricultural innovation and leadership.
Empowerment and Inclusion
Central to our mission is empowering vulnerable women and youths to lead in agriculture, cooperatives, and policymaking. We strengthen their influence, build confidence, and provide tools for active participation. This fosters an inclusive environment where their voices are not just heard but magnified, ensuring their contributions are valued and impactful.
Our Approach
Through comprehensive training, mentorship, and networking, we equip women and youths with leadership skills and agricultural expertise. Engaging them in cooperatives and policymaking breaks down barriers, paving the way for sustainable development and economic empowerment. This balanced representation enriches our communities and fortifies the agricultural sector.
Partnership
In Month of March, 2024 a Nigerian local bank became a valued partner in this endeavor, supporting us through their SWAY AGRIC FINANCE FACILITY to initiate this impactful project on a modest scale.
We have enrolled 50 beneficiaries for the cassavHer program and 60 beneficiaries in vocational training under the Ogun State Economic Transformation Project (OGSTEP).
